Bachelorette Watch Party

IMG_1959

Last night was my second time hosting my family over for our weekly Bachelorette Watch Party. We’re all pretty big fans of the show, so this summer we decided to get together every week at someone’s house to watch. Even the husbands join in on the fun, although they’re usually on their phones rather than invested in the show.

We had so much fun last night! If you’re a fan of the show, you know it was hometowns, which is a really important episode of the season. I’d like to say that we are silent throughout the entire show, but we all chat away during the episode. That’s what makes it so much fun! My aunt, Debra, always has the hot gossip on what’s happening with the contestants, and my sister in law, Melanie, and my cousin, Samantha, and I love to chime in with our own comments as well.

Last night I made a Chicken Alfredo Bake for dinner. I wanted a single dish this time instead of making a bunch of little appetizers. This was super great. It’s made in one pot and then transferred to a Pyrex dish to finish off in the oven. All I did was add some store-bought garlic bread with it to complete the meal. I decided to make two casseroles because I’m always paranoid that I won’t have enough food, and at the end of the night I was left with a complete other casserole. So I sent people home with leftovers whether they wanted them or not.

Keeping with my easy theme, we had ice cream sundaes for dessert. Again, super easy and store bought! I just crushed some Oreos and peanuts for toppings along with sprinkles, chocolate & caramel sauces, whipped cream, and of course, cherries!

Are you a fan of The Bachelorette? Tell me who your favorites are! I’m pretty sure that Garrett wins this season, but Blake reminds me of my husband, so of course he’s my favorite.

xoxo, Meg
