How I Meal Plan

I’ve always been a really organized person who likes everything to be planned out and done just so. When I moved into my first apartment by myself, I started writing out weekly menus and corresponding grocery store lists so my meals were planned for the entire week. I really hate going into the grocery store blind, not knowing what I’ll make, or what is in my pantry already. Since moving in with my husband, I’ve stuck with my meal planning strategy, and it works really well!

Loving Lately: August Wrap Up

Thank God that August has been cool with tons of rain, because that kind of weather is my jam, and August is one of my least favorite months. There are no holidays (except my SIL’s birthday!) and it’s just this awkward month between summer and fall. But, I did have lots of things I loved during this month, so let’s get into it!

Homemade Taco Seasoning for Taco Tuesday

About a year ago, I had tacos on the menu, but when I went to start cooking dinner, I realized I didn’t have any packages of taco seasoning! What was I supposed to do? I was really too lazy to run to the store to get some, and the thought of changing my meal plan wasn’t appealing to me. So, I decided to make my own taco seasoning.
