My husband and I love to spend time together. We have so much in common, which is super great for our marriage. There are so many things that we love to do together! Of course, we have our own things that we do by ourselves. I love to read, cross stitch and bullet journal, while he loves playing video games and fishing.
A couple of Christmases ago, my husband got a beer making kit from my parents, and he started doing that as one of his hobbies as well. In our old house our kitchen was really rather small, so it was difficult for both of us to get in the kitchen with all of his equipment needed for brewing.
Our house in Omaha was old. Like, 60 years old. Something was always breaking, rotting or becoming outdated and after a while it just wan’t fun anymore. When Hubby and I started looking for our new house, we knew we were not about to live that life anymore. So, we settled on a new construction home. Everything’s new! You won’t have to work on anything!
What ever happened to May Day? When I was a child, the whole neighborhood joined in on the fun, dropping little baskets filled with treats off at our neighbors’ houses. My mom, who was super crafty and was always looking for ways to keep my brother and me busy, would research homemade baskets for us to make. So, we would grab our paper plates, construction paper and pipe cleaners and get to work.
